As I await for classes to begin this Wednesday, the fine folks at UMBC have arranged an immense number of social activities to help break the ice and prepare us for the coming school year.
Already I have some interesting stories to tell, and since they are short I figured that things would be more like vignettes.
Heartfelt Reunions
One of my first things on my “to do” list was to get back in touch with my old friends from summer classes. One of my friends, Sabrina, dashed towards me while I was heading to the icebreaker activity known as “the Playfair”.
I found most of my old friends and we caught up on what happened over the summer. It was so nice to see them again!
Gathering The Magic
In addition to catching up with old friends, I also got to make some new ones!
Even before school’s started, there’s a very active Magic community on campus!

Working Out In The End
As I prepare for classes, I’m grateful that everything managed to work out. I can’t wait for the upcoming school year!
