As Wednesday is our last day of class proper, perhaps this post is a bit premature. However, I can already feel the signs of the semester winding down. Final projects are complete, despite the inclement weather, and everyone is talking about their holiday plans.
I must confess, I’ll miss this life. There were certain little joys, such as munching on mediocre Chinese food at the Commons or playing Dungeons and Dragons with the gang. I’ll miss the photo projects, the cutout assignments, and the nights I spent struggling to figure out my hiragana and katakana.
However, I think we all deserve a break. I know I do! Just some time to devote towards outside activities, and with today’s connected world I suspect we won’t have trouble keeping in touch.
I’ll be taking two classes during the winter. One swimming class and a television in American culture class. This is paving the way for my spring semester, in which I will return to juicier courses once again.
In the meantime, I think I’ll take the time to finally make my post count go up, if not only a little.
