There is somewhat of a bleak picture here on UMBC campus. Most places are closed, the dining hall’s normally uproarious and lively scene now consists of a few staff members and less than a handful of students who occasionally wander in.
The snow drifts down, blanketing all but the sidewalks in pure white. If you look at the street lamps, it almost seems like they’re dancing.
My apartment is empty, as everyone else has decided to take winter off. There’s not much to see or speak of, though it is rather nice to be able to crank the volume up when I play games.
Nonetheless, I am acutely aware of the absence of my normal friends. The “gang”, although more in terms of its usage on the show “Scooby-Doo” than a literal gang.
Perhaps I’ll get down to assigning us actual roles and who we would be considered on the show. Until then, I shall simply stay indoors and watch the snowfall. Maybe I’ll get around to finding out what kinds of mysteries there are on campus.
